Potential Photographs.

These are some more - more recent - photographs of musical events which I could incorporate into my coursework piece and place within my magazine. These photographs were taken at a local gig and as a result of this I could advertise the band in my magazine coursework as an "up and coming" or local band to fit in with the theme of new bands which is the specific theme of my magazine.

Teacher Feedback.

From the feedback that I have received from media studies teacher I have realised what it is that I still have to accomplish in the coming weeks; I still need to create a music bar and personalise my blog to fit more suitably into my target market for my magazine; I need to create mock ups of my magazine so I can assure that my finished piece is done to a correct and professional standard; I also need to assure that my target market is correctly established and assure that every detail about my specific target market is reached.

Potential Photographs.

Above is the original photograph which I took of my model; this photograph could be used within all three selections of my magazine coursework. I would say that this piece would more than likely be used within my double page spread as the subject of the piece would be very clearly shown as well as the purpose and main objectives of the piece of writing.

Underneath my model's eye - once taken - we discovered that my model had a clear blemish under her left eye and as a result I came to the conclusion that I needed to edit this out using the Photoshop software on the computer and assuring that the photographs that I have taken for use within my magazine are of the highest and best quality.

Potential Photographs.

Through all of the photographs that I have taken and compiled throughout different gigs and live events that I have attended over the past few years and the lat few months; I have selected a few different photographs that could be incorporated into my finished magazine - these pieces could be altered and edited to fit a purpose - and could be incorporated into my cover, contents or double page spreads within my magazine.

Both of these photographs were taken at the Kerrang! Relentless Energy Drink 2009; I believe that I could incorporate these photographs into my magazine and into the contents page. I believe that these photographs could be deemed appropriate as they are simple and could easily have writting displayed over the top of them; these photographs have no distinguishable people on them and could be used on any magazine that is created.

All of the photographs that have been displayed above could be used in either the contents page - either as a way of displaying live events and gigs that have occured over the time between the last few weeks and allowing the magazine as a way to review what has already happened; I could also use these photographs that I have complied within the double page spread of my magazine, these photographs can be cropped and edited to fit this purpose and assure that each photograph is used appropriately.

Band Name.

Once I had the original idea for my magazine, as well as the genre and target audience of my magazine sorted it came around to the time of the project where specific names and news features have been decided for your specific magazine.

As my magazine is primarily designed to introduce any brand new bands I decided that I was going to have a model on the front that would be a member of what would be a brand new band and would feature within this specific issue of the magazine

Literally, I searched band names that were avaiable online and from the suggestions that arose I decided to use
http://www.ratemyband.co.uk/Band-Name-Generator to decide on what name would be appropraite; from the selection I picked the name Boy Roadside.

I decided that the name Boy Roadside as this was one of the names that I was immediately drawn to; in today's society there are several artists that have obscure and unheard of names - all of which stand out and most of which are very memorable - and I decided that Boy Roadside was going to be a name that would appeal to everybody; have any different musical genre and would appear within any different music magazine.
